The Drex Drop - 3rd EditionHello Survivors, and welcome back to another edition of our Drexonica-exclusive community crunch, The Drex Drop. This month is a big one, packed with updates, changes, and brand new content across the cluster. One important change before we dive in. Moving forward, The Drex Drop will include updates for both Ark Survival Ascended and Ark Survival Evolved, allowing the entire community to stay informed from one central source. The highly anticipated event schedule has now dropped on our discord. It is definitely a change from pop-up events or weekly events. This type of posting allows players to know ahead of time what events are coming to the community & on what days. We will still post a weekly schedule of sorts so players can get all the specifics that won’t fit within the little 1x1 box on the calendar. Donations & Discord Booster Bundles:Astraeos, The Trouble Child Continued:To celebrate our 5th anniversary we have updated our starter packages to give new players some fun-colored tames to start with! Instead of a basic beige colored tame, players will now be able to choose from 5 different brightly colored griffins for their flyer starter. This is a slight change to the ASA packages as the previous flyer starter was an argentavis. Another fun addition to the community is Ninja’s Auctions. Basically I made the decision that if I am online to host an in-person event and no one shows, I will tame at least a cryofridge worth of dinos in the timeframe the event should have run. The tames will then either be auctioned off as singles/pairs or as mystery cryofridges at the end of each month. The currency for the auctions will be element dust for ASE & BBS for ASA. Specifics will be posted with each auction regarding levels, colors, dino variety, etc. Event CornerOn ASE we had a great turnout this past week for events. Last Sunday we hosted Egg Glide with a turnout of 9 players all of which were racing to make it to the end of the wyvern trench on foot with only a glider/parachute and their wits. After Egg Glide we also hosted the Parkour Event on Center which had 5-6 players come join us. In this event players had to use only their skills to navigate the jumping puzzle on The Center. No ziplines, no grappling hooks, no parachutes. If you misstepped Level 10000000000 megalodons were in the lava awaiting a snack.Upcoming EventsCommunity HighlightsNote From the Admin TeamSurvivor Tip of the WeekIf your base feels empty, it probably needs more dinos.
